Streaming via Chromecast
Chromecasts mirror the content of your computer on the TV screen. Anything you can stream in web browser, you can stream to your TV via Chromecast.
Overview:
Step 1: Turn on the TV
Find the TV remote (it should have the same brand as your TV) and hit Power
.
If you have a universal remote, hit TV
and then Power
.
Step 2: Make sure the TV source is correct
If you don’t see the Chromecast home screen, you’ll need to change the input source on your TV.
Find the TV remote and hit Input
or Source
until you see the Chromecast home screen.

Step 3: Open Chrome on your computer
Fire up your computer and open Chrome.
Step 4: Navigate to your streaming service
Type the URL of the streaming service (e.g. Netflix) into the address bar. Start playing the movie/TV show you want to watch.
Step 5: Cast your tab
Click the ...
menu in the upper-right-hand corner of Chrome, then click Cast...
.
Find your Chromecast in the pop-up menu and click it. After a few moments you should see your title playing on your TV.
