A Smart TV has built-in WiFi, which means it can stream titles from your favorite streaming service without any extra hardware.

For Smart TVs to work, they need to be connected to your home internet connection.

Overview:

Step 1: Turn on the TV

Find the TV remote (it should have the same brand as your TV) and hit Power.

Step 3: Say “Watch [APP]”

Most Smart TVs have a voice-control feature. Find a button with a speaker or voice icon and hold it down. Then say what you’re trying to watch. This can either be a service (e.g. “Netflix”) or a title (e.g. “Saving Private Ryan”).

Step 4 (optional): Navigate to app manually

If your Smart TV doens’t have voice navigation, or if it isn’t working, you can navigate to your streaming service manually.

Your remote should have a button that says Smart TV or Apps. Hit that button, and then use the arrow keys to navigate to your desired streaming service and title.
